Whitney joined the firm in 1997. With a background in survey and mapping, Whitney’s expertise in field operations provides a foundation for construction inspection.  He joined Melvin Engineering in 1997 and in 2000 became the Supervisor of the newly established CEI Division.  He holds certifications in Quality Control, Concrete Level I and II, Asphalt Mix Design, Asphalt Roadway Level I and II, Asphalt Plant Level I and II, Earthwork Level I and II, Advanced Maintenance of Traffic, Nuclear Radiation Safety, and Final Estimates I and II.  His ability to manage construction inspection projects, construction contracts, and work successfully with contractors, enables Whitney to confidently represent our clients during the entire project.  His dedication to work and community has been recognized by way of good character recognition and include the qualities of Determination, Alertness, and Thoroughness.
