Construction Engineering Inspection

As a member of the Melvin Team since 2002, Ben's applies his experience in utilities and roadway drafting and design to construction project inspection.  His experience and technical knowledge combine to deliver construction projects that are well-managed from contract start-up through final close-out.  As with all field inspectors, Ben serves as liaison between the project engineer and the construction manager to ensure that the client’s best interests are represented and projects are built to specifications.  Ben holds inspection certifications in Asphalt Mix Design; Asphalt Paving, Level 1 and 2; Asphalt Plant, Level 1 and 2; Earthwork Level 1 and 2; Intermediate and Advanced Maintnenace of Traffic; Final Estimate 1; and Drill Shaft Inspection.  Ben's commitment to his community is to serve as a volunteer with the Graceville Fire Department where, in addition to firefighting, he is responsible for training.   Known by co-workers as "Gentle Ben",  he has been recognized for demonstrating the character qualities of Orderliness, Determination, and Meekness.
