With a background in survey, Whitney’s expertise in field operations provides a foundation for construction inspection. A relatively new service provided by Melvin Engineering, Whitney has been part of the department since it began in 2000. His certifications in concrete, asphalt, earthworks, and contract management to name a few, enable Whitney to confidently represent our clients during project construction.

Having spent 8 years in drafting design, Sandra applies her knowledge of “why” to actual construction. Her expertise in roadway design, translates into decision-making in the field as construction progresses. Efficiency and practical experience maximizes production so that projects are completed on time and as designed.

From utilities to drafting design to field inspection, Ben’s experience and technical knowledge combine to deliver a project that is well-managed in the field. As with all field inspectors, Ben serves as liaison between the project engineer and the construction manager to ensure that the client’s best interests are represented.

With steady, quiet reserve, Don is uniquely qualified as a Construction Inspector. He brings 20 years of military experience to his field inspection responsibilities. His determination and attention to detail are qualities that have gained the respect of clients, contractors, and co-workers.
