Chipola College Center for the Arts

The project consisted of new construction of a 42,000sf complex for educational and performance purposes, with a 650-seat performance theater, a 150-seat experimental theater, a studio and instructional suite for dance programs, and administrative office space.

As part of a design-build team, DHM provided design and permitting services for the project site and access roadway design, including drainage for building access for this state-or-the-art education and performance complex.

Collaboration: Coordination with DAG Architects, the City of Marianna, Chipola College, contractors and subconsultants, additional agencies and stakeholders with positive, award winning results.

Awards: The architectural firm for this project, DAG Architects, received the following design awards: Associated Builders and Contractors, North Florida Chapter, Eagle Award for Institutional 2013
