Green Circle BioEnergy (Enviva, Inc.) Pellet Plant Facility

The project consisted of the construction of the world’s largest wood pellet production facility, Green Circle BioEnergy, now Enviva, on a 256-acre site. Melvin Engineering served as the lead design firm and overall project manager. DHM provided: Civil and Site Design, Structural Design, Large scale multifaceted project on expedited timeline, intricate project management, complex structural and building designs, water/wastewater systems, extensive electrical and control systems, environmental—wetlands permitting, and construction engineering inspection.
DHM was part of the Jackson County Economic Development team that was committed to providing services, incentives, and coordination of federal, state, and local agencies.

This project has been recognized state-wide and industry-wide as a regional economic development success story.
