State Road 267 from State Road 20 Wakulla County Line in Leon County, Florida – Design
The DHM roadway design team provided signalization, roadway, signing and pavement markings, drainage, and permitting. The scope of work included milling and resurfacing with the addition of five-foot paved shoulders to a portion of State Road 267 (Bloxham Cutoff) in Leon County, from State Road 20 to the Wakulla County Line.
Notable: This project lies within an environmentally sensitive area (the Apalachicola National Forest) that required special attention to the needs and requirements of the US Forestry Service.
Collaboration: DHM partnered with EGS for Geotechnical investigation, and Snelgrove Surveying for survey services, while working cooperatively with the Florida Department of Transportation, and all agencies and stakeholders for a successful project.
Construction cost: $8.9 Million
