Sneads Wastewater Treatment Plant and Sprayfield Extension – Phase I and II

Upgrade the existing facilities included increased capacity from 495,000 gallons per day (gpd) to 1.1 million gbd. The effluent sprayfield was expanded from 40 acres to 203 acres. Accomplished in multiple phases over several years with funding from USDA Rural Development and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, and the State of Florida community Development Block Grant program, the facility underwent another upgrade to significantly increase capacity. Blountstown Greenway Multi-Use Trail

Located in the Northwest quadrant of the City of Blountstown, and winding through the City for approximately 5 miles, the greenway trail spans from the Apalachicola River at Neal Landing on the southeast to Sam Atkins Park on the northwest. Portions of the trail follow the former Marianna and Blountstown Railroad which served the area from 1909 until 1972. Midway on the trail visitors can enjoy a stop at local shops and additional areas of interest. Marianna Airport Commerce Park

Improve infrastructure at the Marianna Airport Commerce Park, specifically to site for a manufacturer recruited to the area. The Scope of Services included increasing water/wastewater capacity for expansion and future growth, demolition of two existing water storage facilities, determining location of existing water/wastewater lines and other utilities (telecommunications and natural gas) to extend services, identifying fire protection needs, roadway and parking area improvements, and Landscape and irrigation design.
