Florida State University Physician’s Clinic

DHM landscape architects worked with one of our most prominent clients, Florida State University, to enhance a property with some beautiful existing Live Oaks on the southside of Tallahassee to address a need for physician services to lower income families.

FDOT State Road 87 Highway Beautification

Our team of landscape architects worked with Santa Rosa Board of County Commissioners to beautify a section of State Road 87 in Santa Rosa County through a FDOT Joint Partnership Agreement Grant. Standard Crepe Myrtles, and Sabal Palms along with many understory species now line this portion of the highway through a notable tourist thoroughfare.

South Walton Dunes Lakes Elementary School

DHM In-house Landscape Architects worked collaboratively with DAG architects & the Walton County School District to create a landscape over the 33-acre site that was not only beautiful, but creative and low-maintenance as well. Elements such as outdoor teaching classrooms and a geyser fountain in the SW pond are just a few of the special features that set this school environment a part.

Florida State University Haskins Pedestrian Sidewalk project

The FSU Haskins project presented many challenges to our engineering and landscape architecture team. The drainage area crossing through the space required sidewalk connection via two pedestrian bridges and creative grading techniques to maintain the flow of stormwater through the site.
